Stats Link Canada was launched in 2006 by GDSourcing. 

GDSourcing has been helping Canadian entrepreneurs find relevant market and industry data online since 1997.

Our home web site - GDSourcing.com - is a reference point for free data on the Internet.  It is similar in function to the Stats Link Canada website however is not nearly as detailed in content or organization.

The Stats Link Canada website grew out of our popular research guide Researching a Small Business in Canada.  The guide can be found in many libraries and business resource centres across the country.  It was written by John White, the founder of GDSourcing.

John has been helping Canadian entrepreneurs locate relevant market and industry data for more than 12 years both in his capacity as the owner of GDSourcing and as an employee at Statistics Canada.
